If you’re looking into a simple tool to learn how to digital sculpt, I suggest using the web based app SculptFab (link below). I’ve been using programs like Zbrush and Mudbox for a while, but for a lot of people, I know the interfaces can be a bit overwhelming. This simple app has all the basics to quickly sketch up a concept. I really like how easy it is to use. The only down side I can say is that it’s only good for quick, general stuff. I’m most likely going to use it to make the base sculpt, then import into Zbrush for the details and color.
